How much data do we need to keep?
With more data being created now every day than ever before, not only do we need to find the best ways to manage that data, but also ask how much we actually need to keep. This is a great look into a way to consider data retention but I'd be keen to hear what sort of approaches others take on the decisions around what to keep! https://www.informationweek.com/data-management/e-discovery-how-much-data-do-we-need-to-keep-

How much data do we need to keep?
GPT 5?
Has anyone here used it yet? I tried it for for what I hoped was some simple data sets to help someone set up a quiz, and it got almost every direct question I asked it wrong - even when I corrected it, it still gave me wrong answers. I'm just using it for low stakes, low level stuff, but that was a bit frustrating - I'm wondering how it's been performing for industry professionals with a lot more riding on it than the outcome of a quiz night.

Notebook LM, Google's AI Podcast producer is testing out video infographic explainers so we decided to give it a try based on last week's Data Pro News! You can check out the original newsletter here and I'd love to hear what you think of the finished Google product as well
