I had a dream last night that I was in a big fancy house with a bunch of people, trying to decide my future. I was either going to move to Boulder to finish grad school, or stay where I was. I got real clarity that I was going to stay where I was rather than move. Then, we were on a bus, going various places. Details are sketchy, but at one point, I transplanted a tree. Another point, we were talking about dirty water and how it needed to be "turned over." There were other things, but not as clear as my dreams often are. In real life, I did my Masters and half of my Doctorate at CU Boulder. I quit in the middle of my doctorate and transferred to UT Austin to finish. At the time, I wasn't sure if I was committing careeraside, but I knew that I had to leave CU. It's interesting, because I have had a recurring dream for decades that I find myself back at the University of Colorado, or at UT Austin, and have still not finished my doctorate. This time, it felt like I interrupted that cycle before actually changing program "again."
