Acceptance
I am contemplating the action of acceptance. I find that in order to change something l have to accept it as being so. Being late is something that l do, l have many reasons why it happens. When l am going to be late l somehow feel that l can manipulate time to avoid the eventual outcome of being late. It was in the process of doing this that l understood that there was nothing l could do to avoid the truth, that l will be late. This realization created a possibility for change, if l truly desired it.

What comes to mind right now is - It's possible to achieve a direct experience
We're now Not Knowing. A few things to show you.
Hey everyone, We've made some changes around here. I wanted to walk you through them so you know what's available and where to begin. First, the name. The Consciousness Path is now Not Knowing, after Peter's, The Book of Not Knowing. Being willing to not know is a big part of this work. It gives you somewhere to begin looking for yourself. 🌀 Start Here & Roadmap I've made five short Start Here videos to get you going. They also point you to the new Roadmap course, where we've brought together the books, courses and other resources so you can find what interests you. We've basically made a map of Cheng Hsin. Don't get lost and remember, the map is not the territory. - Start Here: https://www.skool.com/not-knowing/classroom/2da2cfdc - The Roadmap: https://www.skool.com/not-knowing/classroom/1ccf2b27 🌀 Weekly Check-Ins for New Members I'm also doing a check-in for new members every Tuesday. Come meet me and the admins, ask a quick question and let us help you find a place to start. You'll find the next one in the Calendar: https://www.skool.com/not-knowing/calendar 🌀Classroom & New Levels We've reorganized the Classroom and changed the level names and rewards. You earn points when other members like your posts and comments, so introduce yourself and join a conversation. At Level 2, you get the Consciousness Weekly Archive. At Level 3, there's a free seat at an eligible one-day online workshop, Peter's newsletter archive and information on writing to Peter directly. Some of the other rewards are: - Level 5: two months in my private group coaching. - Level 6: the Limiting Beliefs Contemplation Course. - Level 7: a one-on-one session with me. - Level 8: Nothing. (seriously) - Level 9: nine free seats at eligible one-day online workshops, to use within one year of reaching the level.

Something just came up for me. I hope l can articulate it. I am recovering from two major surgeries in the space of 4 months, ( knee and hip replaced). I am struggling with the rehabilitation and trying different strategies to recover. I am a very movement oriented person. I discovered, Not Knowing isn't a place to get to. Like if l keep training and practicing it will happen. In Peters words, "the results are part of the process". I am sitting in my chair and just started to move and breathe, without any intension. Maybe what l am trying to say is that for me not knowing opened the possibility of a new experience

To put "don't know what l don't know" into perspective. "It's like counting to an ant" ; This is something Peter once said to me.
Contemplating
I find it really hard to contemplate, sometimes I manage it well but I need to be really focused. When I try I find my mind wandering into every day issues yet i don’t seem to have a problem meditating.

In the discipline of yoga there are the yoga sutras, the second states that yoga is the control of thoughts of the mind. A person who was more experienced than me translated to; yoga is the cessation of thoughts. Cessation and control have different meaning. When l practice something let's say contemplating it requires discipline, at some point l need to let go of the " steering wheel" and experience my work and see if what I am doing is effective. For me control means struggle or efforting. What if at some point contemplating becomes a cessation of effort and l am being the contemplation
