On New Year’s Eve, 1988, I knew God—but I did not honor Him.I went to church, but I was only taking up space.I was living a life of sin. Around five o’clock that evening, I was getting ready for a New Year’s Eve party.And then I heard God. I didn’t go out.I stayed home.I got on my knees. At midnight, I repented. I was tired—tired of chasing love in all the wrong places,tired of hanging out,tired of living empty. I confessed everything to God, and I never turned back. It wasn’t always easy.There were times I missed the life I used to enjoy.But as I prayed, fasted, read God’s Word, separated myself from certain people, and grew stronger in Him—everything began to change. And I can honestly say this:when you fully submit to God, all will be well. I didn’t submit because life was easy. I submitted because I knew God’s way was the only way that would sustain me, heal me, and keep me aligned with purpose. I pray this will be helpful🩷

Sister its been a long time coming. I had this in my spirit from 2007. I appreciate our time with Coach Lisa, who helped awaken the dreams that I had given up because of excuses.😊
