@Margie Vaudreuil greatly appreciate the compassion and I know! You had no way of knowing!
Hunting fabric
Yes! I want to do the Monique Blouse. Can't find the right fabric. Since JoAnns closed, I have to rely on mail-order but I prefer to 'feel' my fabric before deciding or purchase! ๐Ÿฅฐ

@Margie Vaudreuil Thank you! Yes, the price was absolutely AWESOME! and I know Robert Kaufman. One of my favorites. PLUS, I LOVE poplin! I LOVE just that tiny bit of stretch, so when you sat down, it usually doesn't gap open! Mom always told me on an expensive garment, the buttonholes go crossways to help that also. ๐Ÿคฉ. She didn't SEW! But, she DID buy nice clothes, so she paid attention to small details like that. Thanks for the comment. I'll have to HUNT up the Mood fabric (I WILL!). I'm sure you can IMAGINE how much fabric a fabric 'hound' has. I once worked in Louisville, KY at The Remnant House (fabric shop). When the assistant manager introduced me to her boss, she told him he was hiring his BEST customer! HA! HA! I most likely STILL have fabrics from THEN that I haven't used! HA! HA! Probably rotten by now! I didn't notice when it might arrive, but they did advise it should ship within 24 hours. I live in Georgia, so probably about a week or so.

No Ma'am. It still isn't here.
If you had a little girl to sew for โ€” would you agree the Girl's Leggings are a good first stretch knit project? ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿงต
We think it ticks a lot of boxes: โœ… One pattern piece โœ… Simple construction โœ… A real live fit model to try them on mid-project โœ… A result that actually gets worn โ€” repeatedly But we want to hear from you. Have you sewn leggings before? Was stretch knit everything you expected โ€” or did it surprise you? And if you think there's a better first stretch knit project for a beginner โ€” what would you suggest instead? ๐Ÿ‘‡ The Girl's Leggings are waiting for you in your Sewing Pattern Secrets classroom โ€” Module 1. ๐ŸŒฑ

Yes! I believe it to be a wonderful first knit project! Small, so less work and stress for a beginner sewing on knit. AND, not as much money invested if a mistake is made. Definitely a good start!
Wedding gown
This gown started as a strapless gown with a scarf this is what I turned it into I used several of the skills I learned to do it ๐ŸŽ‰

Been sewing for 60 years. Retired, now. Even sewed at the 'Oshgosh' factory! Figured what they say IS true! You CAN 'teach an old dog new tricks!'.
