DAY 5 MENTAL DETOX- Emotional Triggers: Interrupting Automatic Reactions
lToday’s session focused on understanding what emotional triggers really are and how to respond to them with awareness instead of reaction. An emotional trigger is not the event itself — it is the meaning the mind assigns to the event. Triggers often form during moments of: • sudden change • unspoken loss • emotional discomfort • situations where something important shifted unexpectedly When a trigger is activated, the body reacts before logic arrives. Heart rate changes. Breathing shortens. Muscles tighten. Then the mind attempts to interpret the experience: “This feels familiar.” “This feels unsafe.” “I need to protect myself.” Today’s goal was not to eliminate emotion, but to interrupt the automatic response so that emotion does not control behavior.

Wisdom is power. I'm so grateful for day five training on triggers. I walked away with an understanding of why I do what I do. When I get triggered my defenses go up. It's almost like I feel like I'm in a boxing ring. I plant my feet and throw my hands up and I'm ready to fight. And I never understood why I reacted that way. But as we learned today, when a trigger is activated your body responds before logic, that was very powerful for me because I go right to the thought of I need to protect myself. I am so grateful for the tools that we learned today. So the next time I'm triggered I definitely will be using pause and name it. This way. I don't allow myself to go down a rabbit hole, along with some. breathing to bring myself back to the moment. I'm so grateful for these tools because as I move into the next level of what God has for me, I'll be able operate with clarity and not be led by emotion.

Praise God for what we learned today later on in the day, I was at a function, and somebody said something from the front of the church that triggered me. I felt it immediately in my body, my head cocked to the side, and I was like what you say, but then I remember what I was taught this morning and I took a breath. I named my feeling took another breath and was able to move forward. I was not going to allow the spirit of offense to take hold of me today.
Day 4 Mental Detox : Survival Default Settings
Today we identified the hidden patterns running your life: Survival defaults. These are automatic behaviors you learned to protect yourself— but now they may be limiting your growth. 🔍 What We Covered - Hyper-Independence → blocking help & partnerships - Overworking → leading to burnout, not wealth - Delay → missing opportunities - Control → slowing growth - Expecting the Worst → sabotaging success 🔑 The Truth What protected you then… may be limiting you now. Don’t fight survival—release it: “This kept me alive, but it is no longer in charge.” Sis. We’re not just healing—we’re reprogramming for wealth.

Day 4 - I was really blessed by today's teaching. It helped me see and put a name to things that were controlling and manipulating me. I was wearing them as a badge of honor, but not realizing they were truly limiting my growth spiritually, mentally and physically. Control, hyper independence, and expecting the worse all work together, hand in hand, as the default settings that have kept me running in circles. But as of today they have been exposed and release. I no longer need you to keep me safe and protect me. I am choosing expansion over fear.
Mental Detox – Day 3: Mental Overload Is a Management Issue
Sisters, today we got honest about something that’s been draining many of us… not because we have too much to do, but because we’ve allowed too much access to our minds. Mental overload is not about workload. It’s about lack of boundaries. When everything has access to your mind, nothing gets your best. And a noisy mind cannot lead… it only reacts. And reaction is expensive. Today, we stepped into a higher level of leadership. ✨ Key Shift: High performers don’t do more — they decide better. They decide: • What deserves attention • What gets written down • What gets scheduled • What gets released We are not here to slow life down… We are here to speed clarity up. What are you deciding to release today?

Today we talked about mental overload and what stood out to me was your brain is not a storage unit. My brain was actually hurting from all the stuff that I was carrying around and trying to order and control. When we did the exercise of writing things down and scheduling them, I felt a break in the spirit of anxiety I was carrying and in turn the headache I had for the last three days went away .From this day forward I will operate with clarity and order.
🌅 21-Day Mental Detox — Day 1 The Decision to Detox
Sisters, Today was not just the start of a class. Today was a decision. A decision to stop carrying what was never meant to live in your mind this long. A decision to release mental weight. A decision to make space for clarity, peace, and direction. We talked about something many people avoid: 👉🏽 You can’t carry everything and still build the life you’re called to. For many of us, the weight isn’t just what happened… It’s what we’ve continued to carry long after the moment passed. Mental clutter shows up in ways we often normalize: - Overthinking - Fatigue - Lack of focus - Emotional heaviness - Operating on autopilot And today we made a powerful shift: Detox is not denial. Detox is placement. We are not ignoring what we’ve been through. We are deciding it will no longer control how we think, move, or show up.

I choose clarity. I declare that I will no longer operate under the negative thoughts and comments that have been spoken to me and over me. I will step into the calling God has given to me. And function in it through the strength, authority and power given to me by his son Jesus Christ.
Mental Detox – Day 2 Thoughts Are Seeds — Choose What You Plant
This morning, we built directly on yesterday’s decision to detox our minds. Yesterday, we cleared the ground. Today, we learned that what we plant next will determine what grows. The core message was simple but powerful: 👉🏽 Every thought is a seed. 👉🏽 Every seed produces a harvest. 👉🏽 And every harvest becomes a life. We talked about how many of the thoughts shaping our lives were planted long ago — through childhood experiences, trauma, conversations, environments, and what others spoke over us. Many of us have been living in harvests we didn’t intentionally plant. But today, we took our power back. We learned that mental detox is not just about removing negative thinking — it is about intentionally replacing it. Awareness alone is not enough. Transformation requires discipline and intentional planting. Through journaling, we identified thoughts that no longer serve us, uprooted them, and replaced them with intentional seeds rooted in faith, clarity, confidence, and abundance. The reminder for today: Be mindful. Every thought is a seed. When a negative thought shows up, pause and ask yourself: 👉🏽 “Do I want to harvest this later?” If the answer is no… don’t plant it. 🌱 Your harvest will always reflect what you consistently choose to plant.
