I Passed the PMP!! 🎉
I'm so happy to share that I passed the PMP exam three weeks ago. I'm incredibly thankful for @Jay Nimpson and her study sessions that helped fill my knowledge gaps. @Andrew Ramdayal YouTube videos were truly instrumental in my preparation. The way he breaks down the PMP mindset was crucial to my success. A huge thank you to @Kafilat Osoba for walking me through your exam experience and offering valuable guidance. I also deeply appreciate @Tan Arthur and @Clarence Brice you both helped me stay focused and motivated to improve in the areas I struggled with most. Thank you all for being part of this journey!

Failed the exam
I know,, most people came here to share their successful stories. I want to share the real stories, maybe it will resonate with some people who are in the same shoes. I prepared the exam for two weeks. Although it’s a short period of time, I felt so ready. I finished simulator questions scored from 65 at first which was more intended for using the exam questions for study purpose, then started to increased to 73 then 80. I studied 200 extra hard questions and David’s 200 of Agile questions and other videos and materials. Before the exam I also reviewed AJ’s mindset materials etc. I felt ready! I planned to take it easy two days before exam, because I studied long hours on weekends, and stayed late to study after work on week days. But just in case, I studied more… that burned me out. I was not able to focus on the exam day. Questions were not difficult, but I struggled to stay focused to read questions and think straight. As result I got people AT, but rest two models didn’t meet the target. AJ has mentioned rest the day before exam. Listen to him. I can’t change what has happened, I’m mad at myself, and feeling down, but I’ll be okay. Anyone has any suggestions on how should I prepared the rest two modules (again) effectively and efficiently? TIA.

@Angela Vuitton Thank you for your transparency. I highly recommend giving yourself more time to study. Two weeks is not enough, and cramming the day before the exam is not ideal. Consider investing in PMI Study Hall it was incredibly helpful for me. Also, @Andrew Ramdayal YouTube videos were instrumental in my understanding of the PMP mindset; they were a game changer in my preparation. Take a few weeks to recharge, then ease back into your self studies. Also, see if there is a study group you can join in addition to your studying. Don’t wait too long to retake the exam. There are three months left in the year, and I truly believe you can pass before it ends. You've got this!
PASS PMP!!
I pass the PMP!! Mindset and Mostly Agile questions. I am so happy to announce that I passed the PMP exam yesterday. There are so many people to thank. I am thankful for @Jay Nimpson study sessions, which filled my knowledge gap. I initially took Joseph Phillips Udemy, but I later watched @Andrew Ramdayal Udemy videos closer to my exam day, which greatly helped me. The formatting and explanations of the videos filled the knowledge gap for me. Last year, I attended @Gabor Stramb LinkedIn Friday session, which further reinforced my knowledge. I appreciate all the one-on-one study sessions with Tan, Tracie, and Suliat because they kept me grounded and focused my mind on my weak areas. I purchased the TIA simulator around April, and it gave me confidence. I scored around 72-75 percent in my first two mock exams. As I did more tests, my average consistently was 85 percent and higher. For the 60-question mock exam, I had 45 minutes left after the exam to review the questions. For the 180 questions, I had roughly an hour left to review my answers. I purchased the SH at the last minute and averaged 68 percent for the questions that I took and averaged 1 minute for questions. I did the practice questions but didn't have the time for the practice exam. For the exam, I had time to review what I flagged and all the questions for each section. Due to my confusion about time, I wasted time on the first 60 questions. I started the next set of 60 questions at 120 minutes and the last 60 questions at 47 minutes.
