Your Choice: Be Optimistic vs. Pessimistic (Amazing Article)
I read an Amazing Email about Being Optimistic vs. Pessimistic ....and I thought I would share it here as it related to the last Client Attraction call of July 26, 2026 ... I can almost PROMISE it will be worth your while. It was written by Peter Diamandis: The most common thing people say to me lately is that optimism is naive. Here's my honest answer, and why I'm putting prize money behind it. TLDR: I get some version of the same question almost every week now: “Peter, isn’t optimism kind of naive right now?” I want to answer it honestly, without the stage-lights version of myself. The short answer is that optimism was never about believing everything will be fine. It’s a stance on where agency lives. The future is not something happening to you. It’s something happening for you, if you decide to grab the wheel. And I believe that so strongly I’m now putting prize money behind it. Let me start with the question, because I hear it constantly and I’ve stopped pretending it doesn’t sting a little. “Peter, isn’t optimism kind of naive right now?” People ask it kindly, mostly. They gesture at the headlines. The wars. The politics. AI moving faster than anyone’s institutions can absorb. Jobs that felt permanent looking suddenly temporary. And then they look at me — the abundance guy, the one who signs every letter “to a future of abundance” — and there’s this gentle question underneath the question: are you paying attention, Peter, or are you just selling hope? I want to answer that honestly. Not with a keynote. With the actual thing I believe when it’s late and the house is quiet and it’s just me and my own head. THE VERSION OF ME YOU DON’T SEE: Here’s something I don’t say on stage. I am not a naturally optimistic person. I have to choose it, most mornings, on purpose. My default wiring, if I let it run, is anxious and catastrophizing. I run worst-case scenarios in my sleep. Ask anyone who’s worked with me for 30 years. The optimism people see is not a personality trait I was lucky enough to be born with. It’s a discipline I built because the alternative was unacceptable to me.

How To Meet New People And Make New Friends....
One thing I did for fun one day: we were five guy friends and five girlfriends (meaning they were just friends, no relationship). We decided to invite five other guys and five other girls. So we called it "Perfect Ten meets Perfect Ten!" Here is what we did: we said: "Give us a call, leave a voice message on this number, and tell us why we should select you. Tell us a little bit about you, your age, where you live. Interests, a little bit about what you do maybe for work and for fun." Then we would call them back and interview them quickly, saying, "Okay, you're selected as one of the five guys or one of the five girls." And then we all went out to dinner. That could be a fun thing to do in your city if you want to just meet new friends and go out with your friends to meet five new friends. It's a casual way to have a date as opposed to actually dating one-on-one. Everyone paid for themselves and whatever they ate or drank. From the culture I come from, Scandinavia, that's very often how we do it here. We go out in groups. And then if something happens, great! If nothing else, we may have made a good friend. That's a thought for somebody out there if they want to take that initiative. Here is What we actually did: we posted it in Craigslist. You can obviously post it in a Facebook group for a city or what other social media you use that is local to you, or if you want to have an online event, it could be done that way too. Just make sure that it works time zone-wise. Hopefully this sparks some ideas and thoughts of making new friends. PS: This obviously could be done if you just want to go to a park and play a volleyball game or have a picnic. Or if you want to go to a concert together, you could do that. Or you could even take it to another level where you all pay for a chef, and you cook a meal at maybe the chef's location or another location, and you buy all the ingredients in advance. I mean, the sky is the limit. You can have a lot of fun with this and be creative.

@Kunda Changwe it is an excellent way to meet new people and a great way to have fun and grow your contacts. And I feel it is more comfortable meeting many at the same time as not anyone is put on the spot, if you follow my drift?

@Kunda Changwe great. Are you going to do anything about it?

One thing I always find engaging and fun is to involve my friends or friends in social activities. It could be anything from going rafting together, going out in a big group for dinner, going to the beach together, or playing some games in the park. It's amazing how much they appreciate that you, the instigator, did that, and how you help them do something more fun and connect on a different level! I'm just curious to see here who's doing something like that, and maybe you can share some ideas what you're doing that seems to be working. Because in this day and age, I do feel that many people are getting more and more lonely. We are too focused on our own digital social media, not in real-life (IRL) personal events. So I'm curious to spark a conversation around that. It could be anything simple, doesn't have to be big things with lots of people... ....but just curious what you do to enliven your own social activities. Also, are you the one that takes the initiative, or do you wait for somebody else to do it?

@Gainde Senegal English would be great.
I had a great sales call yesterday! ...and Here is how I made it better.
So I had a scheduled sales call with a person that was interested in the https://www.skool.com/party as I teach people how to become successful social nightlife organizers and make a great living from it! This guy called in from Tallahassee, Florida, young guy that's been organizing events for two-three years. I have 22+ years experience doing that very successfully in San Francisco, California, where I have hosted some events that were over 5,000 people. For instance, at San Francisco City Hall for a Halloween ball. I have a script which I've been trained to use by Andrew Kirby and crew. For those of you that don't know Andrew Kirby, he sits next to Sam Owens, the owner of skool.com, and he's very influential and extremely smart. I'm getting coaching from him. During the call, for the first time, I was able to follow my script probably about 90%, which was by far the best I have had of all the calls that I've done. Here's what I wanted to share with you today: What I did, I recorded the call, of course, and then I transcribed it, and I imported it into my Claude Pro account. I uploaded my script and told Claude, "Give me brutal, honest feedback on how I did on this call and compare it to my other sales calls." .....Because all my other sales calls are also uploaded in the same projects, so it has full access to it, plus other key files and texts that I have gotten feedback on as well. It was mind-blowing the feedback I got back. I asked Claude exactly what it is that I needed to improve on, could have said differently, and also I asked it to highlight things that this person brought up that I should pay attention to on the next call, if there is a second call.... I cannot say how valuable this is. It's a complete game changer. ....and for the ones reading this and have to do the same thing that I do and want to be successful on Skool. ....I'd be happy to share more if you have any questions, but this is just a huge game changer.
I had a great sales call yesterday! ...and Here is how I made it better.
