Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing great. I am in my 2nd week of ugc and I signed a $1000 deal with an AI software. I didn't even send my portfolio, because my portfolio didn't have an AI kind of video so I made a mock up video and they were ready to work with me. I got this deal by personally reaching out to them on social media. I did a little digging and was ready to work with them. Before you guys think, omg she's so lucky let me tell, I have failed miserably for a whole year trying to do something I knew I wanted to do but still couldn't do it, for everybody time is different, success looks different, so please don't compare yourself with me, if you still want to, think it like "if she can do it, why can't I?" It just takes you showing up every single day and posting that one video and you don't need portfolio to get started just some examples, I hope everybody who's in this community gets the success they wish to see in their ugc journey. For the longest time, I thought planning and manifestation were enough. I would plan everything, visualize my goals, write things down… but still not move. Simple truth that hit me- planning alone doesn’t change your life - action does. Manifestation only works when you show up and put in the effort. Lately, I've been telling myself I don’t have a clear direction, but honestly… that was just an excuse. Deep down, I know what I need to do - I was just avoiding starting. The mentors and the community are here to guide, but at the end of the day, we have to take responsibility and show up. Since I’m new to UGC and not very comfortable on camera yet, I decided to challenge myself to record something every single day. And honestly, it’s already starting to boost my confidence. I also made a habit tracker yesterday to stay consistent. One line from Gloria really stayed with me: “Don’t wait for the new year to start — start now.” I’m choosing to show up, even when it’s uncomfortable. I just hope I keep this momentum going.
