05/13/2026 Für Elise - Beethoven I am grateful to have seen this performance live! Alexander and I have been working on Für Elise for most of the school year and he first performed this in front of an audience at our December recital. Since then we have been refining our analysis and theory, plus dissecting the measures with a metronome and perfecting mechanical technique. He aims to achieve the best score he can at level 3 NYSSMA next month, which is so impressive considering he has only begun learning the piano within the last year.
