The Summer Slowdown
@Radell Peischler and I had a little coffee together this morning and chatted about life and our lovely group. We are enjoying the summer slowdown and want to carry this on...Here's a quick update: 📖 Continue to read Pioneers. It's great storytelling and also takes a little more time (I'm finding at least) to read it thoughtfully. There are so many useful nuggets and beautiful stories and I'm only on Chapter 3. 🎉 I connected with the author on LinkedIn and she offered to come join us for one of our zoom chats. Eeek....so exciting! This feels big! ⏯️We are going to pause our weekly zoom chats until end of July. In the meantime, some of those local are going to get coffee or lunch. And of course, keep posting, reach out to each other to continue those relationships and supporting one another like we do! 👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽 And finally...the big news: We have decided to launch this group and open up to 10 more amazing ladies to join the group. If you know of anyone who is interested, feel free to share this link with more info. We will open the doors until July 31st and relaunch Aug 1st.

Hi Radell! I just got the book this week, so haven't gotten too far into it. Excited to dive in more over the weekend. Glad you found resonance in the second half.
Services Pitch Deck
Hey ladies! I could use some feedback on this services deck. It's what I'm starting to circulate to ask for referrals and as follow-up to "connect calls" (discovery calls). It took WAY longer to put together...and then (what felt like) even longer to be brave enough to send it out. lol I welcome any thoughts and feedback!! My goal is for the audience to feel connected emotionally to the story and the why, and enough information about the what to want to set up a call to learn more.

Hi Nicole! This is a deck that you'll send out, right? You won't be presenting it or talking through it at all?
Question
I would LOVE some feedback/ proofreading (or a vote?!) on this flyer... I plan to hand these out to all my local preschools and daycares. This one is made for my daughters preschool. Trying to fill my calendar this summer! :-) Thank you!

Hi Jenn! I second Nicole—Option 2 is intuitive and easy to follow, and definitely my favorite! It clearly explains the fundraiser from the start and guides the reader through each step in a really natural way. That said, I do really love the image of you with the swimmer on her back from the first option (over the shot of you in action in the second option). It feels a bit more active, and the colors pop more. (I didn’t love the ring color around it though, since it blends in quite a bit.) One small design note: a pop of yellow in the image rings or contact buttons could be a nice touch and help tie in the logo. Also, maybe adjust the phone number format to (540) 967-8044 or 540-967-8044 for a cleaner look. It looks great!
Anyone Up for a Little (Short-Notice) Midweek Networking?
Hello ladies! Thought I'd share this in case anyone is interested in some local networking (at what seems like a pretty venue). It's in Spotsylvania if you're in the area. I think I'm going to go; it would be lovely to meet in person if you are! It's free. https://members.fredericksburgchamber.org/events/details/network-at-nite-revatone-farm-by-amy-cherry-taylor-14498?range=60&fbclid=IwY2xjawJry6tleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHowZkI9sn8QayflmRmaFDOUsJ-wsZIWxaj2ILdv7rYYw7UBG9S3aTUx7iNZ9_aem_MrcAANZQd4BcvGqYn3DYsg

@Radell Peischler I did not end up going. I had changed my mind and decided to go to a pitch thing down in Charlottesville instead, but got the time wrong, so ended up missing out on both. Oops!
