Every good adventure needs a guide, and every good guide needs a name! Allow me to introduce a little artifact that has been quietly waiting in the wings: a small, yellow, glass duck, filled with an assortment of symbolic, curious, and occasionally thought-provoking questions. I've affectionately been calling him The Duck of Wisdom, but I think it's time he had a proper name! He's going to be making an appearance around WonderWander in the near future, and I have a feeling he might have a few interesting things up his little feathery sleeves. Before that happens, though, I thought it would be fun to let the community decide what we should call him. I've gathered a few possibilities, each with its own history and meaning. Greetings and Blessings, my friends! 🤗 I thought it might be fun to offer a little WonderWander engagement challenge—an invitation to share a piece of yourself with the community. Below, you'll find three different prompts. Choose the one that speaks to you most (or answer more than one if inspiration strikes!). This isn't about finding the "right" answer; it's simply an opportunity to connect, reflect, and get to know one another through the many ways we experience and make meaning of life. As a small thank you for participating, I'll be offering a complimentary one-on-one reading to one member of the group. You're welcome to answer more than one prompt if you like, but each member will receive only one entry into the final drawing. Responses should engage meaningfully with the prompt you've chosen. Follow the thread that feels most genuine, interesting, or alive for you. Option 1: "The Museum of Ordinary Magic" If your current season of life had an exhibit in a museum, what object would represent it, and why? Greetings and Blessings, my friends! A few days ago, WonderWander was nothing more than an idea and a lot of empty space. Today, there are already people here. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for joining. Thank you for introducing yourselves. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your stories, your questions, and your curiosity. Thank you for helping transform this space from a collection of pages into the beginnings of a genuine community. One of the things I love most about creating spaces like this is that no community is built by its founder alone. The conversations, perspectives, experiences, and wonder that each person brings become part of what the community is. Seeing discussions already taking shape has been both exciting and deeply encouraging. WonderWander is still very young. There is plenty of empty space left to fill, more Field Notes to add, more discussions to have, and more ideas to explore together. But watching those first connections form has reminded me why I wanted to create this place in the first place. I'm grateful you're here.
