Hi, I was listening to today's show talking about knowing your NIF. People might not know that there is a card you can print from the e-fatura website https://faturas.portaldasfinancas.gov.pt/ when you log in that has your NIF in barcode format that shops can scan, makes it a lot easier if you just keep it with your debit card and show it when you pay

Does anyone have one? AND if so is it connected to a tow bar/hitch? AND did having a tow bar/hitch make your car and insurance more expensive AND did you have to take another test because you now have a bar/hitch that means you might be towing (even though you only got the bar/hitch to put a bike rack on it?!!!!)

I'm passionate about helping people learn Portuguese. I'm not a teacher and I'm not even fluent, but I've been living in Portugal for almost 9 years and can confidently communicate with anyone in Portuguese and frankly if I can do it anyone can. For the last 3 years I have been hosting a Portuguese Chat Club on my European Portuguese Facebook group. We're a small friendly group who plan weekly sessions to practice speaking about the things we want to speak about. It's open to everyone but somehow not many people seem interested. After running a poll in the group it turns out that people are waiting until their Portuguese is better before trying to speak! To try to encourage people who really do want to learn Portuguese but are nervous about trying, I am hosting 4 sessions for a small beginners group in February where we will introduce people to the concepts of chat club.
