Tito Learns about Ice wraps
My other donkey had a swollen fetlock and needed to be iced twice a day, Tito was VERY interested in what was happening and wanted to participate. So here he is practicing his leg ice wraps.

I love watching your videos.
So proud of Tito learning to self bridle
This boy has come so far and yes it's taking awhile. I've had people respond with 'oh you should have been there in two weeks ' when I share training accomplishments. I disagree, I think the animal gets to choose how quickly we go, especially with my inexperience. When I got Tito in Sept 2023 I couldn't catch him, he ran away from me everytime I went out to see him he'd spook and run away. But his attitude towards working together is phenomenal. He's eager, and thinks through things so much. (I have a mammoth I'm also training and he offers mostly his ideas 🤣🤣🤣🤣). Happy I have a place to share! This is his first time seeing these bridles, I've only haltered him and we have not done any target work with that it in general.

It's been very cold and snowy here - "donkey belly deep" ! I've tried putting mushers secret and coconut oil on their hooves but snow still packs in there and turns to hard ice. I chop it out each night. Anything else work to keep it from packing in their? Thanks!

Hello from Georgia
Hi everyone! I’m a newish donkey owner that grew up riding horses in just about every discipline. My family lives on a bit of land in Georgia and added two mini donkeys to our family last fall. I am having so much fun getting to know these amazing animals. They are so different than horses in some of the very best ways. I am perpetually in awe of how smart they are. Megan’s work has been so helpful in learning best practices in donkey management. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and further my knowledge about how to be the best steward of these amazing animals.
