Burnout Pre Teacher to Full Time Creator $6.5k
Fifteen three-year-olds, climbing on me, in 100-degree Texas heat. That was my whole day, 9 to 5, five days a week, with zero leftover energy for the weekend. I was a preschool teacher, and I loved those kids. But the job was eating me alive It's loud from the second you walk in. Someone's melting down, another kid just skinned their knee, a third is having an accident, and you're out on the playground in the heat for hours, sweaty and sticky and covered in dust. It's not just tiring, it's overstimulating in a way that's hard to explain. Highs and lows all day, with zero seconds to breathe in between. I'd come home with nothing left. No energy to make dinner, none for my friends or my workouts, nothing for myself. I'd just sit there empty, already dreading tomorrow, knowing I had to get up and do the exact same thing all over again. And the part that scared me most was looking down the road. This was the ceiling. A little more burnt out every year, stuck in the same room, watching my bank account quietly shrink the whole time. I'm 25. I could not picture signing up for 30 more years of this. I wanted out so badly, but I'd been taught my whole life that you do grade school, then college, then you get the steady job and you stay in your lane. At least be grateful, “you have a stable job and you’re helping kids right Angela?” Little did I know, the way out was already sitting in my pocket. I had a little fitness page, and brands had quietly started paying me to make content for them, from home, on my own time. By October I walked in and told my boss I was done and handed in my 2 weeks. Now, I make anywhere from $5-8k/m, a full time salary from my phone now with full freedom because I chose to take a different route. I wake up at 6am now because I want to, not because I'm dreading a classroom. I'm filming this from my friend's pool on a Tuesday afternoon. I break the whole thing down on the UGC World podcast: https://youtu.be/RIo2zNt-7wE?is=tc17yowJR8eu4fbJ

I’m a complete beginner.
At 51, I Left my 23-Year Stable Corporate Career to Make 'Goofy Videos.' Five Months Later, I've Made $117,394.
Hey I'm Jared Brubaker, I'm one of the UGC coaches that paid $1,000 to newer creators for their first ever paid brand deal this past week in the 2026 sprint. I've got a lot of UGC Creators asking my story and background and I've never shared this publicly before, so here it is: My closest friend told me to 'get a grip on my life' when I left my 23-year corporate career to make videos on my phone. Five months and $117,394 later, he's asking me how to get started. before I found out about UGC, I led a 400-person corporate recruiting company for 23 years. On paper, I was successful. Six-figure salary. International business. Respect. Status. I had the whole thing on the outside. On the inside? I was at war with myself. I hated my job. I hated myself. I felt stuck in this loop where every day looked exactly the same and I couldn't see a way out. I had this gut feeling that there was more to life than boardrooms and quarterly reports and managing people who didn't want to be managed. But I kept going. Because that's what you do, right? You’re a “man”, you have a family to care for, you have responsibilities. You have a reputation. You don't just walk away from 23 years of financial stability just because you're "unhappy." So I buried it. For years. For years I silenced that inner voice and told myself to man up and toughen it out. But it was this one moment when everything changed for me. I was in Barcelona with my son. He was playing soccer, and I had way too much time on my hands. I was scrolling through TikTok one day and saw a post about brands desperately needing older Gen X creators. And I thought, "Why not me?" I'd been an actor in my previous life, a long time ago when I was younger. I was always comfortable in front of the camera. So I figured I'd give it a shot. Just to fill some time while I was out there in Barcelona. I always wanted to have fun creating content. I did five or six projects before I flew back to Salt Lake. And something clicked.

Thank you very much
Welcome To UGC WORLD family 🤍 (Start Here)
You made it here, finally!! And the fact that you clicked to join this group instead of bookmarking it for "later" already separates you from 99% of people who will spend the next year doing the exact same thing they did last year and wondering why nothing changed. Warm welcome to the UGC World. I can see that you're really serious about your dream life. I'm Gloria. Two years ago I was crying in a Walmart parking lot wondering if life was just going to feel like this forever. Today I travel the world and get paid to film short videos on my phone for brands. It's called UGC. And it's the easiest skill you can learn in 2026. This community has 16 year olds making an extra $30,000 a year. Moms who quit their retail jobs. Retirees making an extra $150k/year. Nurses, veterans, athletes, actors, comedians, and people from all over the globe who come with an aligned mission to build a remote income from their phone. People who had zero experience with content or business before they started. All of them were exactly where you are right now. Here's your to-do list to get started 👇 Step 1: Introduce yourself in the comments below. Tell us your name, where you're from, and your goal with content and UGC. I read every single one! Step 2: Start going through the classroom here: https://www.skool.com/ugc-world/classroom The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is right now with whatever you have 🤍 Welcome to the family. Gloria
