I have created something new called: My daily walk: The 99 steps. Its for 99 days And this is to deepen your relationship with God, deepen your understanding of scripture, build a deeper understanding of yourself. This includes reading any books from from the Bible and each day you pick at least 4-5 verses, read, study it and write it by using a method I created called SWORDMAPS S- scripture W- word study O- observation R- reflection D- do = this is what you will use to breakdown the scriptures. For example: Hebrews 10: 1-20 so today will you do Hebrews 10: 1-5 then tomorrow 6-11 etc etc MAPS = used for the whole chapter For example, Whole chapter of Hebrews 10 Optional Deeper Study, reflection and revelation Deeper study What patterns or deeper truths are in this passage? What is the underlying message beyond the surface? Reflection What is this revealing about my current season? Where do I see myself in this scripture? What is this stirring emotionally or mentally in me? Revelation What do I feel God is personally highlighting to me? What truth is confronting or reshaping me? What is shifting in me because of this passage? If you’re doing this with friends, family, life partner, colleagues etc Questions for others Where do you see yourself in this passage? What is this challenging in your life right now? What truth stands out to you? What are you being invited to change or consider? What would obedience look like for you here?
