For much of my life, hard work was not simply a strength. It was a survival strategy, Growing up around abuse, dysfunction, and poverty, followed by addiction, homelessness, and incarceration, trained me to push, prove, and control. Trying to control things out of my control hasn't worked out so well. just sayin' But this protective identity helped me survive. But it could not teach me how to feel safe inside peace or circulate prosperity without fearing it would disappear. Here is the truth I explore in my newest video: Hard work amplifies the identity of the one doing the work. When a survival identity directs our effort, working harder often creates more urgency, pressure, and struggle. We tell ourselves we are being disciplined. But sometimes it is just fear wearing work boots. This does not mean we stop working, creating, or pursuing meaningful goals. It means we begin noticing who is doing the doing. Is it the protective identity saying: “I must make this happen so I can finally feel safe”? Or the prosperity-aligned identity asking: “What is life inviting me to do now?” In this video, I share how I am learning to shift from survival-driven force into prosperity-aligned devotion. Hard work helped me survive. Alignment is teaching me how to embody Joyflow Prosperity. 🎥 Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/HdcD6JgMbEo As you watch, sit with these three questions: 1. What am I currently trying to force or prove? 2. What am I afraid would happen if I stopped forcing it? 3. What would I do if I knew it was impossible to fail? Then come back and share: What part of your life are you still trying to force? Naming the program may be the first step in choosing something new.
