I just wanted to give you my view on it AI = thinks and drafts (writing). Like a smart apprentice. - Turns rough notes into an RFI draft. - Writes a client update from bullet points. - Summarises meeting notes into actions. Automation = does the clicks on a schedule. A bit like a conveyor belt. - Sends the RFI to the right people every time. - Files the report and CCs the team at 4pm. - Creates tasks and reminds owners on due dates. (and reminds you) “Artificial intelligence… enables computers and machines to simulate human learning, comprehension, problem solving, decision making, creativity and autonomy.” — IBM. “Automation is the application of technology… to achieve outcomes with minimal human input.” — IBM.
