Friday Reflection — Week 2 🤍
As we close out our week in John 5–10, take a moment to pause and reflect. This week we saw Jesus reveal Himself as the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, and the Good Shepherd. We read about belief, doubt, following His voice, and what it really means to trust Him—not just with our words, but with our lives. Ask yourself: What did God show you about who He is this week? Where might He be inviting you to trust Him more deeply? What does it look like for you to listen for His voice in this season? If one verse, story, or moment stood out, feel free to share it below. Let’s finish the week grounded, grateful, and attentive to what the Word is doing in us.

He’s all knowing, loving, and healer. I think it might be to just let go and surrender, instead of trying to fix or change before hand. Sometimes it’s like I’m a strayed sheep in a deep windy holler. The story of the woman they brought to be stoned is still sticking with me. I think it’s because it feels like it’s saying, don’t worry what others think and how they may judge you and don’t judge yourself. For all fall short of the glory of God.

Midweek Check-In — Week 2 🤍
How are you doing in John 5–10 so far? Whether you’ve been reading a little each day or you’re just picking it back up today, you’re right where you need to be. This is a space of grace, not pressure. Consistency is built by returning, not by being perfect. What has stood out to you this week? Was it something Jesus said, a miracle, or a moment that made you pause and think? Take a minute to reflect and share one verse or thought that’s been on your heart.

One thing that stands out so far is this moment. “This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” ‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.8.6-7.KJV What did he write? I wonder if it was their sins or maybe it was their darkest that they thought no one knew.
Week 2 — Day 1 🤍
Welcome to a new week in the Gospel of John. This week we’ll be reading John 5–10, and the theme we’re leaning into is belief—hearing the voice of Jesus, trusting who He says He is, and learning to follow even when we don’t fully understand yet. As you start today, remember: this isn’t about racing through chapters. It’s about staying present with what you’re reading and letting the Word speak into your real life. Take your time. Pause when something stands out. Ask questions. Let the Spirit lead your attention. Drop a 🙌 when you’ve started today, or share one verse that already caught your heart.

Week 1 Teaching — John 1–4
In this video, I walk through key moments in John 1–4 that stood out to me, share context to deepen understanding, and break down verses that reveal who Jesus is and how He meets us personally. This is meant to guide your reading, not rush it—helping you slow down, reflect, and connect with the Word. You’ll hear: • Insights that personally impacted me • Scripture explained with simple context • Reflection questions to help you apply what you’re reading • Details about our end-of-month live discussion (Premium access) As you watch, listen for what the Holy Spirit highlights for you. Pause when something resonates, and return to the text with fresh eyes. At the end, I’d love your feedback—what helped, what you’d like more of, and what you’re hoping to learn as we continue through the Gospel of John.

Wow! Thank you for this. That definitely gives some things to ponder on. Purpose is one thing that I struggle with from time to time. But now the ongoing or recurring seems to be baptism. The pastor’s wife asked if I had been, I heard your podcast about it, on this reading John 3:5 stuck out, and now hearing you talk about it here. I honestly don’t know why I’ve been or why I don’t.
