How can I tell if headlights have internal damage before restoring them?
Hi everyone. My last four headlight restoration jobs have had internal damage inside the headlights (not caused by me). Even after sanding and polishing, the lenses still look cloudy or stained because the problem is inside the housing. I would like to know how you experienced guys identify this beforehand. Are there any signs that indicate the cloudiness or staining is on the inside rather than the outside? I want to improve my process and avoid unrealistic expectations with customers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
