A Call to Gather in The Valley
“Grace and peace to you all." In this valley of Disciples United in Christ, not merely to sit, but to be activated. I often think of a valley as a low point, but in the geography of faith, the valley is where the water flows, and the soil is richest. Our faith is a Living Conduit as we engage in the vital rhythm of the soul. Just praying daily, seeking God's intake of divine wisdom through deep study, and preparing for an outpouring that will change lives. I continue to remember that we are not just a reservoir meant to hold knowledge, we are a pipeline for the Gospel. In a sacred space, we learn to gather in the valley of Disciples United in Christ, a place not of shadows, but of deep preparation and fertile growth. I love spending time together, recognizing that we are part of a rhythmic cycle essential to the process of life. In this valley, I lean into the Holy movement of intake and outpouring. I open my heart to be filled by the Spirit and the Word, only so that I may share the overflow into a world in need. As we study, teach, and preach, let us all remember that we are the vessels through which Grace flows. May our time here strengthen our roots and sharpen our purpose, transforming us into a missional force that brings light to every unknown land by the Word of Faith. What Valley are you in today?
