Shading Artefacts Plasticity to Blender and Watch Strap Deform
Hi, Does anyone know how to fix the weird artefacts that come through from Plasticity to Blender. I watched a tut saying to reset vectors for the normals in Blender but it doesn't seem to have worked for me. I cleared custom normals but it made it worse (second image) Also, I couldnโt find a way to bend the strap properly in Blender. I tried to use deform in Plasticity but had no joy with it. In the end I used kinefx in Houdini and got an ok mesh but it got warped and was very fiddly to fix. Does anyone have tips on an easier workflow for this please? Thanks! @ QUICK UPDATE!! - I Fixed the shading issue with deleting custom normals and adding Autosmooth so part of this is resolved. The other part if anyone has an idea of how we could use Deform in Plasticity for the watch strap or any other ideas, would be great to get your thoughts
