I’ve read some comments in this group and some men are wondering, what’s the end goal with putting all this time and energy into your look It’s a lot deeper than what you have on, a lot of times it’s your connection into a door. I belive as men we should strive to have as many genuine connections as we can, life is up and down If you have people you can lean on, the easier life becomes, we all know it can get messy at times. So learning and understanding first your environment Are you going to workout, on a date, or a country club ? Wear things that enhance you but also wear things that compliments that environment Ex: 1. if you’re going on a date you might put on cologne that women tend to like, 2. Country club you might wear a watch that’s accepted or a conversation started 3. Gym you might have a nice gym bag For the most part you should like what you wear but there may be instances where the environment and your intention is more important than how much you like your outfit Hope this helps someone

Today my wife and I attended a Breakfast meeting at our eldeset daughter new School. This was to meet a few teachers and some of the other parents of children that started at the school also. I am having the new Suit Trousers hemmed at the tailors but I wanted to get the Jacket on. Today the weather is reminding us that Winter in Canberra is coming, it didn’t get much out of double disgusts here reaching 10 C (50 F) for a very short time. Lots of wind and some of that sideways rain Therefore todays outfit consists of; M.J. Gentlemen it’s been entirely too long since I’ve been active on here. I’ve found my desire to look and dress sharp is tied into my self view. I had lost a good amount of weight and felt better about myself. But then let myself go do to lack of support at home. I recently had some blood work done and had some troubling numbers. So naturally it scared me. I was told everything is still reversible. But the scare made me really realize that I need to change. I doubled down on everything. My diet, my fitness my lifestyle. I’ve already lost over 10lbs since that blood work came back and my blood sugar levels are now way down to almost where they need to be. Because I’m actually feeling better about myself I feel like I’m worthy (not sure how else to word it) to look my best in fashion every day as well. I’m currently in a slightly over sized polo shirt, dark jeans and dark brown hiking boots while at work but I’m going back to my chukka boots, after I dust them off since the weather is getting nicer, to get into feeling better about how I dress. Sorry for the rambling but I just felt I needed to get it out there to guys who might know how I’m feeling.
