Linux Fundamentals Course Completed! š Just finished the Linux Fundamentals course and I'm pumped about how much I've learned! The Transformation: I used to find the terminal intimidating and difficult to work with. Now? I'm comfortable and confident navigating it like a pro. Key Breakthroughs: - Mastered file and directory management (create, move, delete, copy, etc.) - Learned the difference between commands like cat vs less, rm vs rmdir - Discovered aliases - completely blew my mind that I can create custom commands! š¤Æ - Found out the terminal is fully customizable (Z-shell styling) - never knew this was possible! - Comfortable with permissions, user management, and access control - Can zip/unzip files and handle compressed archives with ease The Impact: The terminal went from being a scary black box to a powerful tool I actually enjoy using. This opens up so many doors for development work!

Just got 3 months of access to Claude Code (Max plan).
Iām going to use it aggressively. Not for prompts, but for output. Hereās how Iām thinking about it š Most people treat AI like: ā Google ā StackOverflow ā A fancy autocomplete Thatās a waste. Iām treating it like: ā¢ A junior engineer that writes first drafts ā¢ A reviewer that spots edge cases ā¢ A refactoring partner ā¢ A test + docs generator What Iāll be using it for ā¢ Scaffolding features fast ā¢ Refactoring ugly code safely ā¢ Writing tests I usually āskip for nowā ā¢ Explaining unfamiliar codebases in plain English Goal for the next 90 days: š Ship more without burning out š Spend time on decisions, not typing Iāll share: ā¢ What actually worked ā¢ What was hype ā¢ Real examples (code, workflows, wins, failures) Question for you: If you had Claude Code Max for 3 months, what would you automate or build first? I think I would fix my projects with clean code and best practice principles and ask it to explain and learn it I think it would be great idk!
