They distracted us with BTC to stack up on shiny rocks...
Joking obviously. But this is pretty sweet to see. When people panic, they buy shiny rocks to hedge WW3.

Can't wait for btc to eat that all up 😋
Money in your bank account is NOT YOUR money
When you deposit money into a bank it's legally now the banks money - not yours. So don't get mad at them for setting transfer/withdraw limits. It's their money. They can do whatever the fk they want with it. They have the right to protect it and make it hard for you to get. It's theirs. Not yours. Depositing cash into a bank = giving your money away and HOPING they give it back. I only keep $ in the bank I'm willing to lose. Same with crypto on an exchange. It's not yours. It's the exchanges. Not your keys, not your coins. Read this if you haven't already to learn more about why exchanges are HIGH RISK. This is why I self custody my BTC in cold storage using a ColdCard Q. BTC is unconfiscatable, permissionless, censorship-resistant money when kept on cold storage. Don't be dumb. Self custody today.

@Clinton Kamara Just don't be an idiot and let hackers trick you into telling your keys. Only ever enter your passphrase into a verified encryption device. Never on an internet-connected device like a phone or computer. A friend of mine lost all his bitcoin doing that.

@Ted Carr you have to get Sam orange pilled and make this happen!
Kraken holding my BTC...
Has anyone else ever had issues with Kraken? I purchased some BTC last month and apparently they flagged my account because my checking account for ACH didn't pull the funds, so they froze my account, and had me WIRE a payment directly to them... which I did almost 10+ days ago now, and they still have yet to un-freeze my account and let me withdraw my BTC. Their customer support SUCKS too... I've had to follow-up with them every 1-2 days just to keep hearing the same excuse, "your account is under review". Now I feel like i'm out double, what I paid for the BTC and the WIRE I sent them... insane. Would not recommend them.

And if you absolutely must use an exchange, don't use one that also deals in shitcoins like eth etc. Go with bitcoin only exchanges run by people who actually care about what bitcoin stands for.

@Brian Moncada https://www.trader.university/courses/38824-the-ultimate-guide-to-bitcoin This course teaches you how to do it. Best course I've personally seen (no affiliation). His youtube videos are also great.
Satoshi Nakamoto is now the 12th richest person in the world
The creator of Bitcoin who mysteriously disappeared is known to hold at least 1M BTC that he mined at the start of the network. At today's new price of BTC over $118k this means he has a net worth of over $125bn and is now the 12th richest person in the world! How long until he becomes number 1?

@Ted Carr 90% sure it's Adam Back. There was some super in-depth 3 part documentary on youtube virtually proving it without a doubt. Can't find the link rn. But tbh I don't think it's necessary for people to know.
