I’m 35, I Left the Life I Was Settling For Now I’m Building the Life My Kids Deserve.
At 35, I can honestly say I’m living the life I once dreamed about. I started my online business because I wanted more freedom, more time with my kids, and a better future for my family. The journey wasn’t easy. I had to learn, make mistakes, stay consistent, and keep pushing even when things felt slow. Today, my business has given me the freedom to take better care of my family and build the future I want for my kids. I’m still growing, but I’m grateful for how far I’ve come. What would your ideal life look like if you stopped settling for less?

@Ambrose Hector Logan I just send you a message.
Do companies need funding before they can really afford developers in the US?
Something I’ve been curious about lately. From my experience working with different software projects, development can become one of the biggest costs for a growing company. But not every business has raised money. Some companies are bootstrapped. Some are already making revenue. Others are still trying to get the product into the market. So I wonder how this works in the US. Do most companies wait until they raise investment before building a proper development team? Or are profitable small businesses comfortable investing in developers from their own revenue? Curious to hear from people actually running companies there. How do you usually think about this?

@Happiness Sun I’ve actually got quite a few thoughts on this because I’ve worked around business growth, development, and building online systems. I agree that funding isn’t always the deciding factor, revenue, cash flow, the stage of the business, and what the development is expected to achieve all play a big part. I’d be interested in hearing more about your experience with software projects too. I’m a little tied up working on something at the moment, so I’m not always active on Skool. Would you mind sending me your email address? It’d be easier for me to stay in touch there.
A small-business owner can already hire a freelancer, use Canva, use AI, ask a staff member to post, or do nothing.

@Emily Harper Yeah, I’ve been looking into AI and automation too. I like the idea of using it to actually make things easier for businesses instead of just using AI for the sake of it. What kind of workflows have you been playing around with lately?

@Emily Harper Oh nice, that sounds interesting. I’ve been looking into that side of AI too, especially how it can take some of the repetitive work off your plate. Have you built anything with n8n so far that you could see yourself using for a real business?
