I've just joined with the Bitwig channel, and I'm pleased to see the switch in question style being suggested there. However, I have a specific question relating to a YT video that @Lex Christopherson made about linking Bitwig and Ableton 12 Live... https://youtu.be/j_pgm86T8Y8. Where should I ask that question?
@Carl Caulkett That’s good News. I tried it several times and had to suffer a latency of almost a 16th. At least not acceptable. So I went with recording into audio and lost motivation to further work this way. From now on I hope for major updates of the piano roll editor in BW. I hope you’ll find a good workaround for your problem.
@Lex Christopherson All kinds of events. Sports, Life Entertainment, Meetings, Incentives, Congresses, Exhibitions. We are consulting the Managements that run the Venues.
Seeing as the last time we did this we only had about 100 members, let's get an update! What DAW are you mainly using these days and what about it has captured your heart? (Last time Bitwig was the big winner...) Vote below and leave a comment below briefly explaining why you use that DAW.
Bitwig for all the creativity that is hidden in almost every feature. It’s fresh. Its new. It’s modern compared to Logic where I come from. But still I love using LUNA for its pure analog and retro style and of course it’s sound.
As we've had to postpone @Claude Young's masterclass due to illness, I'll instead be running a free Bitwig Grid workshop Whether you’re a curious beginner or an experienced patcher, I’ll be diving into some of my favorite techniques and creative possibilities within Bitwig’s modular playground. I’ll also be sharing an exciting announcement you won’t want to miss, especially if you’ve been thinking about leveling up your skills in the Grid. Tune in and let’s get patching! Join here. 🪄 P.S. What would you like to learn?
Try not to explain the grid as a whole for this might be too overwhelming. Rather focus on workflows with which you can enhance the “normal” none-grid approaches. Workflows for what Bitwig stands out.
