Been working with a client this week who runs an HVAC business, and we kept it dead simple, just picked 2 things that were actually eating up his time and built them out live in a single 2-hour session. 1. Service request intake and dispatch When a customer reaches out, the system logs the request automatically, sends them a confirmation, and notifies the right technician with the job details. No more manually checking messages and typing things into a spreadsheet. 2. Post-job follow-up and review request Once a job's marked complete, it automatically follows up with the customer and sends a review request. Keeps reviews coming in consistently without anyone having to remember to ask. Nothing complicated, no big fancy AI agent system, just Claude Code and a clear picture of where the manual steps were actually piling up. That's usually all it takes for a small business to feel a real difference. Curious what "small win" automations other people have built for clients recently. Always good to see what others are prioritizing first.
