With so much of modern life focused on speed and convenience, I sometimes wonder how much valuable knowledge we’re leaving behind. Things like growing and preserving food, working with plants, making things by hand, brewing, foraging, natural building, or simply knowing how to make something from what you already have. I’d love to hear what comes to mind for everyone here. And Heather, since you’ve spent so much time learning and practicing these traditions, I’d be especially curious to know: what’s one old-world skill you think more people should learn today, and why? Maybe we can start a list of skills worth bringing back.
