I tried to study leadership competencies through games in my youth center community. These are young people aged 23-29. And I was surprised that in the feedback they noted that they were distracted by game metaphors and that they wanted to learn simply through cases and group discussions. This was a revelation for me. I will add that I used these same games to train bank employees and restaurant business employees. And they really liked this approach, although they were adult serious department heads.
