Stress & Anxiety: The Pandemic of 2026
Twenty years ago, the biggest health concerns were physical. Today, many of the greatest challenges are invisible. Stress. Anxiety. Overwhelm. Burnout. Millions of people wake up tired, live in a constant state of pressure, and go to bed feeling mentally exhausted. What's interesting is that most people think the problem is stress itself. It isn't. Stress has always existed. The real problem is that our capacity to handle stress has not kept pace with the demands of modern life. Most people spend their lives trying to reduce stress. The highest performers focus on increasing capacity. Because when your nervous system has greater capacity: ✅ Pressure feels manageable ✅ Challenges feel less overwhelming ✅ Recovery happens faster ✅ Focus improves ✅ Resilience grows You don't need a stress-free life. You need a nervous system capable of handling life's demands without breaking down. That's what capacity building is all about. Question: What creates the most stress in your life right now — work, finances, relationships, health, or something else? Share below. 👇
Stress & Anxiety: The Pandemic of 2026
For me, it's not one thing in isolation. It's the cumulative effect of trying to balance multiple important responsibilities at the same time. Work, postgraduate studies, parenting, finances, and personal growth all require attention, energy, and presence. Individually, each is manageable. Together, they can sometimes feel overwhelming. What I'm learning is that the goal isn't to eliminate stress completely. It's to build the capacity to navigate it without losing myself in the process.
Coach Lethabo 7-Day C.O.R.E Nervous System Reset Accountability Pod - 15 June
Welcome to my accountability pod. I AM Coach Lethabo 👋🏾 This post will be our group check-in space for the 7-Day C.O.R.E. Nervous System Reset. For the next seven days, we are not trying to fix everything at once. We are slowing down, becoming more aware, and taking one honest step at a time. Please comment below with: 1. What made you join the C.O.R.E. reset? 2. What part of your life feels most demanding right now? Use this post for your daily reflections, questions, wins, and progress check-ins. This helps me keep everything organised and makes it easier for me to track, support, and prioritise everyone inside this pod. No pressure to be perfect. Just show up honestly. Comment below 👇🏿
Hi Coach Lethabo 👋🏾 and the C.O.R.E. community, I joined the C.O.R.E. Reset because I urgently need to find balance, learn to slow down, become more aware of myself, and develop healthier ways of managing stress. The past three years have been particularly challenging, and I recognise the need to intentionally prioritise my wellbeing. The most demanding part of my life right now is balancing work, studies, parenting, and making time for myself. My goal for this week is to take things one day at a time and show up honestly. I understand that the change I seek begins with me, and I am committed to doing the work.
