This is an honest and transparent post. Sometimes you’ll have losses in this trading game but it’s all about how to manage them and move on. I deposited $500 yesterday and was looking to flip this account to some serious numbers. When I took the trade, I was in profit, eventually at $2k and I had a target in mind, hoping gold was about to take off. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case and I lost this account but what I love is that it didn’t move me one bit. Even the best traders have their moments. We don’t hide our losses, we share them here to let you know how to best manage your expectations, improve your experiences and learn what NOT to do when the markets do not favour your analysis. I don’t usually scalp (short term trading) but I saw a nice opportunity on gold. As per usual, lots of manipulation - I almost fell into panic and was about to close the trade but I know better than this and I held on. A good way to end the day 🤝🏿
