Introduction
Hi my name is Wynchell. I live in Pennsylvania and I plan on making $5,000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1.  How to find carriers 2.  How to cold call carriers 3. How to be successful in the industry For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Cook 2.  Bake 3.  Listening to Music ————————

@Wynchell Numa like wise! I’m currently in the learning and building phase of my dispatching journey. I’m taking courses, studying the industry, and putting systems in place so I can run things the right way from the start. At the same time, I’m involved in our family trucking business, so I’m gaining real-world experience while I learn. My goal is to grow step by step, build strong relationships with carriers and brokers, and become a reliable dispatcher who truly understands both the business and driver side.

@Ariel Mendoza - Becoming a broker can make you more money than dispatching in the long run, but it also comes with more responsibility and risk. Dispatching is easier to start and has lower costs because you’re helping carriers find loads and earning a percentage. As a broker, you control the loads and can make bigger profits, but you also have more expenses, paperwork, and legal responsibility. A lot of people start as dispatchers to learn the business and build connections first, then move into brokering when they’re ready. That’s usually the smartest path.

@Ariel Mendoza good! I’m cheering for you! Another difference is that dispatcher receive pay from carriers- Brokers receive their pay directly from the shipper….
