3 Day Water Fast--Updated 2025--Clean the Brain and Reset your Energy. 3 DAY WATER FASTING-Clean the brain and reset your energy. (No food. Water and electrolytes only during fast) Don’t fast during your menstrual cycle. Don’t fast if you’re hypoglycemic Don’t fast if you are diabetic on insulin or multiple medications. Don’t fast if you have gastritis Consult your physician. Constant eating causes the body to use primary glucose as fuel. 4 hormones what assist in raising glucose and 1 decrease glucose(insulin) 4 hormones that raise glucose-Glucagon, cortisol, adrenaline, and human growth hormone Goal is for your body to stabilize blood sugar even when you’re fasting. I tried to do wet fasting for 72 hours, but could only reach 46 hours (twice!).. but on day 1 - my shoulder pain disappeared and I lost 2kgs! I realized that the pain which is actually swelling was 2kgs! could not believe it....my mistake in trying to do the 72 hours fasting was that, I was physically doing so many things since I got this surge of energy. On the 46th hour, I felt weak on my thighs, knees, so I broke my fast...I decided next time I fast, I have to slow down with energy expenditure...but yes, felt better after fasting....Ramadan is coming and I am looking forward to it God willing!
