A Home For Everything
Clutter doesn’t just affect your space — it affects your nervous system. Studies show that excess clutter can increase cortisol levels, leaving you feeling mentally overwhelmed, distracted, and emotionally heavy. One of the simplest ways to create more peace in your home and mind is through the “Home Rule”: everything needs a home. When we have too much stuff or no designated place for the things we own, chaos becomes the default. Creating systems that give your belongings a “home” brings more than organization — it creates calm. It reduces decision fatigue, supports a more regulated nervous system, and helps you feel lighter instead of constantly weighed down by visual and mental clutter. Sometimes the heaviness we feel isn’t just emotional exhaustion — it’s the accumulation of things, commitments, and thoughts that no longer have order or intention. So here’s your check-in: Where do you feel the heaviest right now — your calendar, your closet, or your thought life? What’s one thing in your life that feels out of place and needs a “home”?

Right now it is my thought life, was reminded this morning I need to surrender a couple of things to the Lord.

Spring cleaning creates space for the Ethereal life God has for you — clearing clutter from your home, schedule, and heart so His light can shine through unhindered. Simple habits reduce decision fatigue, invite peace, and help you steward your days with greater joy and focus. What daily rhythms would help you feel lighter and more present this season? Share one area where spring cleaning/decluttering would lighten your physical, mental, or emotional load.

I am going to start with our front entry closet, after the front entry closet I will continue in the kitchen with each drawer / cupboard. I have already reorganized our pantry, a deep clean of our fridge and china cabinet.
Outdoor Weekend Warrior
This weekend, I want to challenge you to move your body outside for at least 20–30 minutes outside! Not for punishment. Not to “earn” your food. Not to burn calories. But because your body was designed to move, breathe deeply, and experience God’s creation. Whether it’s: • a walk around your neighborhood • a bike ride with your kids • stretching on the deck • a hike • gardening • rollerblading • a slow walk while listening to worship music …it all counts. Your Challenge: ✅ Spend at least 20–30 minutes moving outdoors ✅ Leave your phone in your pocket as much as possible ✅ Pay attention to how you feel mentally, emotionally, and physically afterward ✅ Share a photo or comment in the group when you finish! While you’re outside, reflect on this verse: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” — Psalm 19:1 Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is step outside, breathe fresh air, quiet the noise, and remember that we are cared for by a very good God.

I started the weekend (Friday) with a 30 walk in a Lethbridge park called Nicolas Sheran. Was a beautiful warm day in a great surrounding of Gods creation.
Holly's Homework
I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday this long weekend and that the snow didn’t slow you down too much! I know everyone is at different places in their Bible reading journey, but starting this week, I wanted to introduce something new to help encourage and motivate you as you continue reading each week. Welcome to Holly’s Homework! Each Sunday, I’ll post 5 discussion questions based on that week’s readings. You can choose to answer just one or dive into all of them — but remember, the more you engage, the faster you’ll move up the leaderboard. A little friendly competition never hurts 😉 Without further ado, here are this week’s questions! ●What part of Genesis challenged your understanding of yourself, God, or other people? ●Which character’s faith journey did you relate to most, and why? ●Genesis is full of family conflict, jealousy, favoritism, and brokenness. What stood out to you most about human relationships? ●Did anything in Genesis confuse or stretch you about God? ●If you had to summarize the message of Genesis in one sentence, what would it be?

Upon reflection of the book of Genesis, I actually relate to Eve. She was tempted by the devil and then felt condemnation, it is the same in today’s world. Spending time with God and studying scripture we begin to know who God is and there always a way out of the temptation that knocks at our door. Knowing who I am in Christ and pursuing a daily relationship with God is a solid start to recognizing temptation and looking for a way out of it. After the fall of Adam and Eve God set a plan in motion to bring us back to him again in a right relationship. I am thankful that God loves us to pursue us into a relationship with Him
Friday win
Good morning ladies! Have a great story to share, a few of you know I’ve been struggling with my weight and I want to say that persistence pays off. I upped my movement, water and decreased my sugar and I am down 3 pounds and roughly 4 inches in total. I am so grateful for my sisters and all others who’ve been praying for me and I know that through God anything is possible
