Welcome to the Vineyard Homeschool Hub! 🏛️🎨
I am so thrilled to have you here at our Vineyard Homeschool Skool! This online community was built for families and self-directed learners who want to step outside the standard educational assembly line. Whether you are here for the watercolor diagrams, the deep dives into antiquity, or the Level Learning framework, this is a space to explore history, art, and classical ideas authentically and to assist you on your own self-learning adventure. We believe that all learning is really self-education. We're looking forward to meeting you online. We'll be launching writing workshops, watercolor diagram tutorials, and learning products to help you make the most of your learning time, and to bring JOY into learning! We have some fun lesson plans coming up, but what would you like to see in the upcoming semester? Roman history, Athenian history, Zodiac constellations, writing mechanics, basic French and Italian lessons? Let us know in the comments below what you're looking to learn in this Fall 2026 semester.

Dan, I really like the idea behind “all learning is really self-education.” It makes the community feel less like another online classroom and more like a place where families can actually develop a love and curiosity for learning. The combination of history, art, languages, and self-directed learning is also really interesting. I’m curious, of all the things you’re planning to introduce this Fall, which one are you most excited to see members actually engage with, and why?

@Dan Vineyard I really appreciate that perspective, Dan. The idea that a teacher's role is to create the environment rather than simply “deliver” learning really changes how I think about education. And the Zodiac lesson actually sounds fascinating, especially the way you described it as both grounding and uplifting. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the free class in September. For the Fall, I think something around mythology and the stories behind ancient civilizations could be really interesting, especially if it connects history, art, astronomy, and the way people understood their world. I'm curious though, when you think about the Vineyard Homeschool Hub a year from now, what would you love for a family to say they gained from being part of this community?
