The Power Of Preparation
The Power of Preparation Preparation is the secret weapon no one sees—but everyone feels. You don’t rise to the occasion…You fall to your level of preparation. Whether it’s a showcase, a travel ball game, or a bullpen session, the work you put in before the moment determines who shows up in the moment. 🧘‍♂️ When you’re prepared: - Pressure feels like opportunity. - Nerves become focus. - Confidence isn’t faked—it’s earned. Ask yourself today:👉 Did I prepare like someone who expects to win?👉 Or did I just show up hoping things go my way? In Zen The Zone, we train for peace under pressure—and that peace starts with preparation. Let’s get better. One breath. One rep. One moment at a time. Drop a comment, if you’re locked in this week. #ZenTheZone #MentalGameStrong #PreparedNotScared

Preparation is a huge aspect of baseball, but also in life. Trying our best to be prepared to do everyday tasks can make it that much easier to bring that same mentality to baseball!

My name is Noah Phan. I'm a redshirt freshman who just transferred to a D2 in Oklahoma from a Juco in Oklahoma. I've also played in the Northwoods League for a short stint. I'd say that I feel the most mental pressure pre-game. Having the time to sit and overthink things really throws me off my game. It's true for most people but I feel like my first inning really sets the tone for the ones after.
