Do you guys draw in automation for fx like delay throws or do it a different way?

Hey y'all! Been doing campaigns for artist who are trying to get more listeners and fans on their music. This campaign is getting around 100 new streams per day with a $5 a day spend lol! Lot of people just try to pound social media but sometimes just directly getting in front of your audience can be a great way to also get new listeners / fans in the background! Anybody have any times on making a vocal crispy and not feel so dynamic when mixing as my vocals often feel to lack that quality that you may see in say a d4vd or polo g vocal.
