If you're a high school student in any country outside the US (preferably at a non-international school) lmk if you'd be interested in this opportunity with an organisation called Global Voices. I would highly recommend this especially for students who either have not travelled out of their country before or who have not been to the US! It would entail: 2-4 calls with a student from the US where one involves just learning about each other and each others' experiences like life, school, etc and then the rest involve each person sharing an article of their choice to read about a current issue in their country and then on the call they discuss about both issues. There's a lot of substance to gain from just this short commitment, and you get to meet new friends to stay in contact with along the way!
