I feel the same with Coventry mate. It's almost everywhere.
Fuel Crisis
How is everyone managing the recent rise in fuel duty? Are you passing the additional cost on to customers, or absorbing it for now in the hope that fuel duty will drop again soon?

I'm passing in on to my client. But now fewer quotes are getting approved. Seems like couriers are keeping their rates low and absorbing the increase. Good luck with that idea ๐Ÿค”
Fuel Prices & Pricing Jobs; Whatโ€™s Everyone Doing?
With fuel prices rising again, Iโ€™m curious how everyone is handling their pricing right now. Are you: โ€ข Pricing jobs based on the last fuel price you paid at the pump, or โ€ข Sticking with your existing pricing and taking a hit on the margin to keep clients happy? If this situation drags on for months, whatโ€™s the plan? Are you thinking about: โ€ข Gradually increasing your rates โ€ข Adding a fuel surcharge โ€ข Renegotiating with regular clients โ€ข Or just absorbing the cost for now? Would be really useful for everyone in the network to hear how others are dealing with it. Drop your thoughts below ๐Ÿ‘‡

I'm currently quoting based on my last price paid on fuel so my rate will fluctuate from job to job. Not sure if that is the best way but will ensure I am not absorbing the losses in margin. Will probably mean fewer jobs in the long run โ˜น๏ธ

@Kodus Miah That is a great way to put it to the client who would understand they can't expect couriers to pay out of their own pocket.
Who else is sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring?
I'm currently working on a plugin to automatically generate blog posts to bring traffic to www.DeliveryQuoter.co.uk so I can bring the leads into our network. What is everyone else doing to bring in the deliveries? Please share your ideas and systems to benefit our members who are struggling with generating leads.
