Building a business while working a 9-to-5? I’m sharing my real journey From Job to CEO - what's working and what's definitely not!

Are you sick of watching people talk about their $30k months while you're still trying to figure out how to make your first $1k without quitting your job? Same. Which is why I'm not doing that. I'm still in my 9-to-5. I'm building a business alongside it in real time. And every month I run a new experiment - list growth, bundles, offers, systems - and share exactly what happened. The real numbers. The things that worked. The things that absolutely did not. This month's experiment: can I get 100 community members in 30 days by hosting my first ever bundle? Current count: 40. Days left: 25. Verdict: genuinely unclear. 😂 If you're building a business alongside a job and you're tired of advice from people who forgot what the early stages actually feel like, come on in. It's free. There are resources waiting for you. And at minimum you’ll probably cringe/laugh at my mistakes but ideally you'll get to watch someone figure this out in real time and steal what works. 👉 From Job to CEO: The Experiment

@Dr. Bryan Raya Amazing!! Reflecting back on that time in your job when you were building your business too, what do you think was the main thing that helped you break through (10 months sounds fast!)?

@Dr. Bryan Raya good on you. My husband is about to made redundant and is going to use the payout to go out on his own (Engineer, lots of contract opportunities). I am very supportive but also can't wait until its me! The risk/reward ratio feels worth it and like you say, if there is a moment to take the leap, its now (for him 😆).
Please Introduce Yourself
One of the most important things I've learned since becoming an online entrepreneur is that the most important thing you can do to grow your business is to build relationships. Many of us (myself included) have rushed to promote our groups and services that we care so deeply about. And it only makes sense - we are excited about what we are doing! Today, I'd like to invite you to take a step back and introduce yourself to the group by answering the following questions: 1. Who are you personally? 2. Who are you professionally? 3. What is something you love doing outside of work? 4. What is something surprising about you? As you open up and make more connections, you will find that not only are people more interested in what you do, but they will also be more interested in helping you make connections with other people they know! 😉 After you introduce yourself, please scroll through the other introductions and add a comment to someone you have something in common with or would like to know more about. 😊 Please add your introduction in the comments below! ⬇️

@Pacita Florida you reminded me I love audiobooks! I have 3 methods of getting them (free through library app; audible, spotify) because the plain audible/spotifys membership don't give me enough! Its how I get through the boring bits of life

@Pacita Florida unfortunately neither of those free digital media services seem to work in New Zealand (the drawbacks of living a million miles from anyone 🤭). Our public library has an audiobook app but its a heavily subscribed service so annoyingly most of the books I want to listen to our already assigned (thus multiple subscriptions!). Crime and thrillers are good as long as not too crazy with the horror - I can't cope 🤣 but I do like a good crime suspense

It's time to celebrate each other! In the COMMENTS BELOW, please share a Skool community you think is doing really great things. It can be one you've participated in yourself or one that you've heard from others is amazing. Please do the following: 1. Tell us the name of the community and link to it (affiliates allowed). 2. Tag the person who owns the community. If they are not in the CLASSIFIEDS, then please send them a DM and let them know that you mentioned them here. I promise you will make their day! 3. Describe why the group is so wonderful and how it has helped you. Please DO NOT just copy and paste the About page! 4. Comment on each others comments and scroll through the referrals to see if there's an amazing group you are missing out on! Thanks so much for supporting each other and this community! Please note that any #FriendFriday mentions that are created as new posts will be deleted. Thanks!

As someone building an online business, it can be a bit isolating at times and I enjoy the community and resources at The Solopreneur Initiative with @Chantelle Morrison - they have the experience and show up everyday for their community which is amazing

Still in my 9-to-5. Building my business live. I help business owners decide faster, lead better and own the CEO role - from someone doing it.
