My Introduction to my book coming soon.
Introduction: Detox – A Journey Back to You We live in a world that constantly pulls us in a thousand directions—some loud, some quiet, but all demanding a piece of us. Over time, without realizing it, we begin to drift away from our true selves walking around like we are someone else . We accumulate habits, relationships, mindsets, and lifestyles that no longer serve us. We become weighed down—spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, and socially. This book is my journey of shedding that weight. Detox isn’t just about green juices, supplements and yoga mats. It’s about releasing the toxic beliefs, people, systems, and behaviors that keep us stuck and small. It’s about returning to your power and rediscovering your purpose. It’s about making room for growth, healing, and transformation. I know this path because I’ve walked it and am currently walking it each and everyday —from the chaos of my childhood to the clarity I now carry as a man, a chef, an entrepreneur, and a human being dedicated to evolving. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve lived the lessons. And now, I’m here to share what I’ve learned in five powerful stages that mirror the five key areas of our lives we must clean up to live freely and fully. This is your invitation to take the mask off, look in the mirror, and say: I’m ready. Let’s detox. Podcast coming even sooner. Drop your email if interested in a copy. @Omar El-Takrori Thanks again for inspiring me to do this Podcast . David Shands and Myron Golden has a huge part in this also.

is the FEAR Permanent?
I've wanted to be a YouTuber since I was 16, I wanted a lot of people to know and like me. But Because of this, I was very worried about judgment, criticism, and looking like an amateur online for the world to see. Thus, I procrastinated for years and didn't post my first video until I was 20! What changed? There was one question I asked myself that helped me reframe my fear. Instead of asking, “What if people judge me?” started asking, “What if I don’t post and never build the life I want?” By shifting my focus from fear to regret, I was finally motivated enough to take action. The Truth is: 1. Fear shrinks with action – No amount of thinking will make fear go away. Only action does. 2. Re-framing fear into regret makes it easier to take the leap – The pain of staying stuck should be greater than the fear of starting. This mindset shift motivated me to start posting, it felt terrible, I felt judged and ridiculous! I decided to be ok with that......... Years later I now have a New YouTube channel that helps people with the same issues that I had. Do I have some haters?....Maybe, but I have an audience and people are nice to me. I have everything I wanted! It all started with the willingness to look silly in order to learn and grow. Humility is a super power! Thank you very much for reading this post! Comment on the one big mindset shift that finally Got you Posting on YouTube.

Finding the Silver Linings in Love, Life, and Everything in Between
After putting a pause on our podcast for 4 years, it took watching The Video Dept. podcast and Omar’s content to give us a big push to just CREATE and add value. We’re so excited to be back in the podcast space where we centre our conversations around real life experiences as two young people figuring it all out. Stay blessed community!

@Mathew Da Silva This podcast was so authentic and transparent. I loved how your wife said grieving the loss of how relationships were as you all know them. This is truly becoming one. Amazing!
