💛 Self-Love Prompt: What Do I Need Less Of In Life?
We talk a lot about what to add — more self-care, more boundaries, more joy. But sometimes the more powerful question isn't what you need more of. It's what you need to let go of. Self-love isn't only about filling your cup. Sometimes it's about noticing what's been quietly draining it. So today, sit with this: What do I need less of in life? It might be something obvious — a habit, a commitment, a relationship that's stopped feeling good. Or it might be something quieter: less self-criticism, less comparison, less saying yes when you mean no. Less noise. Less pressure to have it all figured out. This isn't about a dramatic overhaul. It's about honesty. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do for yourself isn't adding another practice to your routine — it's finally admitting that something isn't serving you anymore, and giving yourself permission to release it. Let's make this easy, lovelies 💛 Drop the emoji that matches what you're ready to have less of this week — no explanation needed unless you want to share: 😤 Stress / overwhelm 🙅‍♀️ Saying yes when I mean no 🪞 Self-criticism 📱 Noise / comparison / scrolling 💭 Pressure to have it all figured out

Giving without Receiving Is Like Exhaling without ---
Question...Do you find it easier to GIVE - or RECEIVE? For most highly sensitive people, the answer is that it's easier to GIVE. Here's the thig... Giving without receiving is like exhaling without inhaling. At some point, you exhale, push out ALL the stale air that's been in there since before lockdown, and then your eyes water and you panic...but you're still trying to give. Being able to RECEIVE is key. Not just because at some point the body will insist on it, but because you are fully partiicpating in the cycle of life. If you're in the northern hemi, it's summer now. You've been watching things grow and bloom/develop. They have been receiving the nutrients in the soil, sunlight, rain, maybe a few storms and other hardships.. And they are giving or will give their abundance back. Flowers have pollen, which the pollinators spread so that the cycle may continue. 👈 Where in your life do you find it hardest to receive? Love? Wealth? Something else? While you're pondering that, you might love receiving 11 gifts from soulful entrepreneurs that will open you up to wealth and abundance. Our Havener @Carolina Velis is about to turn 55, and she's curated a collection of awesome people who are sharing their wealth of wisdom with you. Yes! I was so in giving and not receiving mode that I became frustrated, thinking there was something wrong with me. It was, the conditioning and programming that it's better to give than receive.....all the stories. I stopped listening to those stories and since I've enjoyed receiving and it has increased my gratitude. Blessings.
Happy birthday Angela C!
Happy Birthday,, @Angela Caccioppo ! 🌹 Please, everyone come in and share some birthday love and good wishes with Angela! Today is not only your birthday—it’s also National Smile Day. That feels wonderfully appropriate because you spend so much of your life helping others find self-love, beauty, and hope. Through every challenge you’ve faced, you’ve continued to share kindness, creativity, and encouragement with the people around you. So today we’re celebrating you—your heart, your strength, your love of roses and rose quartz, and the countless smiles you’ve inspired. May your year be filled with healing, beauty, and reasons to smile right back at the world. 🌹💗 A close runner-up is What You Think Upon Grows Day, another May 31 observance that encourages focusing on positive, nurturing thoughts—very aligned with self-love and personal growth. I actually think combining the two creates a beautiful birthday theme: “On National Smile Day and What You Think Upon Grows Day, let’s celebrate Angela—the woman who teaches us that love grows where we choose to nurture it.” 🌹✨
Happy birthday Angela C!
