@Sofia Vitalia you kinda need a happy medium and I understand what @Krista Brea is saying about momentum but certain things come up or don’t come up which are a sign to take time out even if it’s 1 hour for yourself 🥰
Welcome Kylie
I wanted to take a moment to welcome @Kylie Lupinetti she was the one who was getting book bullied for using AI after sharing her wins people attacked her and maliciously left her book negative reviews because they were angry she used AI. Lets take a moment to instead celebrate the work she did as a creator and busy mom. Her book Binky Bandit is an adorable story to help moms get toddlers off their binkys! Such an original idea in a way to help kiddos and moms. ➡️ Get Her Book on Amazon Even something as simple as sharing it will help. ❤️ Thank you all for showing up and always being positive here. (Sorry for the shorter message guys I am at the work office today)
Welcome Kylie

🚨 I SAW SOMETHING UGLY HAPPENING…
The other day, I came across a Facebook post from a smaller creator who was celebrating a milestone. She had published a children's book on Amazon KDP and was excited to share that she had made 𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗦! 🎉 Something that should have been celebrated quickly turned UGLY. People started ATTACKING her in the comments, calling her work "AI slop," threatening to report her book to Amazon, and trying to tear down what should have been a proud moment. And for what? Because she used AI to help create her book? Thankfully, this creator was handling the situation with CLASS. She wasn't engaging with the bullies or feeding into the negativity. I don't personally know this woman, but I'm not blind to what's happening. And I can only imagine how frustrating it must feel to share something you're proud of, only to have strangers try to destroy your excitement. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱. 👇 🤖 𝟭. 𝗔𝗜 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗢𝗡 𝗞𝗗𝗣'𝗦 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦. I think there's a HUGE misunderstanding about AI-generated content and Amazon's publishing policies. Amazon DOES allow AI-generated content, provided it follows their content guidelines. And here's something a lot of the people screaming about AI don't even realize... 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝗜-𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱. What Amazon DOES require is that you disclose AI-generated text, images, or translations during the KDP publishing process. That includes AI-generated cover art and interior illustrations. There's also a distinction between AI-generated and AI-assisted content. Amazon does not require disclosure when AI was only used to assist with things like brainstorming, editing, or proofreading your own work. The important thing is to follow Amazon's rules, be truthful in your disclosures, respect intellectual property rights, and create books that provide value to your readers. 💛 𝟮. 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦. Whether you're creating children's books, coloring books, journals, workbooks, or full-length novels, you need to understand something... Not everyone is going to be nice about what you're building.

Yes there a huge negativity around AI in those groups and your right a win is still a win. Those people are being disrespectful to their creative visions. It’s very sad people cannot be nice and celebrate each other regardless 😳

Ready to Copyright Your Book? (US TIPS)
📚 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸? You’ve put time and creativity into your book—so let’s talk about protecting your work! In the U.S., copyright generally exists automatically once your original writing is saved or written down. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀. Here’s how to get started: ✅ 𝟭. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 Go to copyright.gov/registration and follow the registration option for 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀, which includes fiction and nonfiction books. ✅ 𝟮. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 You’ll provide information such as your book’s title, author, copyright owner, and whether it has been published. If published, have your first publication date ready. ✅ 𝟯. 𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗲𝗲 Current online fees are $𝟰𝟱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 or $𝟲𝟱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. The $45 option has specific requirements, including one work, one individual author who owns the copyright, and no work made for hire. ✅ 𝟰. 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 This is called the “deposit.” Depending on your book’s publication status and format, you may upload a digital file or need to mail physical copies. Follow the instructions for your situation. ✅ 𝟱. 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 The Copyright Office reviews your application and may contact you with questions, so keep an eye on your email. 💡 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Registering before infringement occurs—or within three months after first publication—can help preserve eligibility for statutory damages and attorney’s fees if infringement happens. You can still register an older book. 🤖 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗜-𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Copyright protects qualifying human-authored contributions. AI-generated material that is more than minimal must be disclosed and excluded from the claim using the Standard Application. A book containing AI material may still have protectable human contributions. 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁!

So do I need to do this too if I’m selling in US? Copyright is automatic in Oz and Uk
