Came across this landscape photographer a little while ago, and he makes me want to move to Oregon. His work is incredibly inspiring to me. How do you think he edited these photos? He definitely polished them up. They almost looked digitally painted in some ways. I recently took a trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon and I didn’t have my camera with me. Welcome everyone. I created this group as a space for us to practice **portrait photography—learning to capture portraits in both studio settings and outdoor environments—**while learning deeply from one another. We are all living busy lives, balancing work, family responsibilities, travel, and sometimes our art comes last, so my intention is to offer a supportive space where we can grow, stay inspired, and stay connected. Alongside photography, I also dabble in all creative things, including painting and music production. I record curated DJ sets—sometimes in my living room, at gigs, outdoors, or even in a hotel room on a tiny setup—and occasionally perform as an EDM DJ. Traveling for a living inspires me both musically and artistically, and I share these mixes on SoundCloud through my project Aurora’s to support focus, flow, and creative reflection. I’m a self-taught photographer based in Los Angeles with a huge burning desire to grow and create through photography, and you’ll see some of my work here in the group. I feel blessed to get to work with creatives every day, and being surrounded by them fuels my passion. That energy and vision—supporting creativity, growth, and connection—is what I want this group to be all about. This group is for anyone who’s interested in portraiture, exploring self-expression through our art, or improving their photography skills.
