Podcast Summit
Omar, I just joined today after hearing you speak at Podcast Summit. I’m excited to be here and got a lot of gems from your session. One of my many takeaways was: “All work works. If it’s not working for you, it’s working on you.” That really stuck with me. Appreciate the value and looking forward to learning more in the group.

@Ginca Love Right! That was one of those lines you keep thinking about after the session. Appreciate the encouragement! 🔥

@Ginca Love I couldn’t make it in person, so I grabbed a virtual ticket. Still received a lot of gems and I’m glad to share the nuggets! 🔥
Equipment
I was in the Podcast Summit today and Omar directed us here for links to podcastequipment. Can someone please share the link with equipment for podcast? Thanks

Audio-First or Video-First Podcast Workflow?
Empowered greetings everyone, I’ve already relaunched my podcast, and I’m trying to simplify my workflow moving forward. One of my biggest takeaways from Omar at Podcast Summit was that long-form YouTube content is powerful, so I want to be more intentional about how I record, edit, and repurpose each episode. For context, I currently edit in Descript, upload the audio episode to Buzzsprout, and use Opus Clip for short-form clips. Here’s my main question: For those of you recording video podcasts, are you editing for the full long-form video first, or are you editing mainly for the best audio episode and using the video mostly for clips? Right now, I’m editing the full video first, then exporting the audio for Buzzsprout. The challenge is that edits that make the audio cleaner can sometimes make the full video look choppy or unnatural. My main goals are consistency, strong audio quality, manageable cost/time, and still having solid video clips for YouTube and social media. What workflow has worked best for you?
