I'm just getting started after spending the first half of my life working for someone else. I did long hours working security and landscaping where 12 hour shifts were normal, I put in overtime and worked my butt off into my mid thirties and have little to show for it. Now, I'm finally learning that business and entrepreneurship seems to be the way to get ahead and not 'work hard at your job' like I was told most of my life. I'm grateful to be learning this now instead of any later in life. However, I hear so many people talk about how you should do it beforew getting married and having kids - well, too late for that. I'm already married with kids. Thanks for putting this community together, I feel like I'm finally in the right place.
