After the last 3 months of exploring a “all stock Ableton everything” fetish, I’ve just reinstalled a bunch of my plugins and have been having a blast making music like a mad scientist/kid in a candy store. I’m curious… what are YOU working on?

Apart from allowing my GAS to get out of control, I've finished a tune, which I will ul to my Soundcloud. I've also been working on a Grid step sequencer because I was a bit underwhelmed by the new Bitwig one as a general purpose sequencer(it's good for drums, though). The goal of it is to have variable length steps eg a 16th followed by a dotted 8th, but I haven't worked out how to do that yet. I have managed to work out how to do gate length by sending trigs and PW to a pulse LFO, which considerably adds to the grooviness of an otherwise static sequence.

@Lex Christopherson I bought XO, Mixland Vac Attack (which sounds great), I got the Wave Alchemy instruments bundle (Triaz is awesome), Ozone 11 and Eternal Arps from Pitch Innovations(which is super fun when you use it with chord apps like Scaler 2 or Cthulhu). I also got Waves Vocal Bender, used it to pitch shift a vocal and then I added a harmony to it which gave me an idea for a track and it's going superbly😀

Unfortunately our dear friend @Claude Young has had an allergic reaction so we are postponing his masterclass tomorrow until he is back to full health and feeling well. Instead - I will be hosting a little impromptu "masterclass" so feel free to drop in anyway :) What would you like me to teach you guys tomorrow?

WHAT'S THE BEST NEW PLUGIN YOU FOUND RECENTLY? 🧑🏼💻
As we approach Black Friday, let's make a list of all of the best new plugins to keep an eye out for. I'm a huge fan of the Cradle Audio plugins because of The God Particle (has been almost the only thing on my master channel for about 2 years now). It's the ultimate master bus sound-gooderizer in my opinion. A black box that does SOMETHING amazing that I'm not able to vocalise further than "it good. it very good". I'm SO stoked about their new drum focused plugin called Orion that is exactly the same level of magic as The God Particle is for mastering but for drum busses. I absolutely love a plugin that removes the need for me to over intellectualize a process. Slap it on - tweak some knobs - BOOM. All of their plugins are just GOLD! Highly highly recommend. What's the best plugin you've found recently?

I just got Beam by Lunacy Audio. It sounds really lush. It's a kind of modular granular/convolution reverb plugin with parallel paths and some modulators and a single macro. It really could do with more macros. The impulses it comes with are really diverse and it sounds so smooth.
