Is it just me or should surfing be considered legit therapy?? 🤔 I always come out of the water a better person.

Just sitting down with Mark our videographer to plan out some of our surfing content for 2025. Would love some feedback to point us in the right direction: 1. What are some of things you would like to see us create or videos you would be stoked on? 2. Is there anything that we are CURRENTLY doing that you would change? 3. When I was 5 years old I got my first wave at Waikiki. 20 years later I’ve surf all over the world and have caught some amazing waves. But this one is the best one yet; surfing with my 1 1/2 year old son at Waikiki for his first wave. Would be stoked to hear about your alls favorite waves below 👇

Hey guys, looking forward to getting to know people here in Surf Space! I started surfing in 1985 in Huntington Beach. I was fortunate to be mentored in life and surfing by some of the local pros in the area who surfed my local break. During that time I was able to get sponsored and worked at the famous OP Pro where I was able to be around Tom Curren, Occy and others in their prime years. I consider myself an intermediate surfer still after all these years although I have surfed some of the best waves on the planet to include Jeffreys Bay, Honolua Maui, Punta Roca El Salvador. I live in Carlsbad, CA now with my wife and have three kids. My favorite breaks are Swamis, Oceanside Harbor and Cardiff Reef. We own a local surf brand called Degree 33 and I love surfing everything from shortboards on up to longboards on smaller days but I have spent a lot of time riding various sizes of midlengths. Here’s a couple shots of me surfing in the last several years. I also love fishing and am getting into golfing 🏄🏿‍♂️🎣🏌️‍♂️ My dream trip is to go to the Mentawais which I hope to do next year. The thing I love most about surfing is the way it takes you away from everything going on in life and allows you to be fully present with the ocean and the experience of God’s creation. I like to call it saltwater therapy.
