💎 Gem — The real problem is not tilt
Most players think the goal is to never tilt. That's impossible. Every player tilts, even pros. The real skill is how fast you come back after it happens. In performance psychology this is called Next Play Speed. The moment a play ends, it's gone. The only thing that matters is the next one. I made a video about this today. But I want to know from you, after a bad death, how fast are you to lock back in?

@Nawar Mohd Hello Narwar, so, consistency is a thing you should not think about, its just distraction. the game doesnt care about how you played last games. You need to know why do you play the game? are you playing the game because you love it? or are you playing because u want the social status? also, are you spending that energy in other areas of your life? if valorant is the only thing you have going on in your life its normal to feel depressed when losing, every lost feels like a set back to the place you want to be in life. Remember, rank doesnt define you, the skills you have either mental or mechanics, those define how you play. dont forget to focus hard even when your brain feels like enter autopilot
Situation
Im Milo immortal 1, and i always find myself caring toooo much about winning to a point were i always get mad or blame mates for small mistakes and obviously that makes me play worse and i just wanted to ask if u have a fix or Tipps for me?

Hello! i feel you already know your problem, but your too addicted in RR to make the changes you know you need to do in your mindset. You need to learn how to lose. Now the rank is whats giving you dopamine, but you need to make learning skill what gives you dopamine. That addiction is making you care too much, thats the law of reverse effort. Getting annoyed is normal, but staying mad is a choice.
What is making you not click the PLAY button?
What do you think about ranked anxiety, what are you afraid to lose? Do you play for yourself or to show to others? I want do know what gives you anxiety to queue. No judment, we are here to improve 🫡

@Daniel Martín Hello Daniel, you need to shift the way you are seeing the game. I dont mean this to be rude, but no one cares if you actually have a high rank or not, that means you dont need to be afraid to lose. You need to be ok with ranking down 2 full ranks. Because whats important is improving skills inside valorant, like crosshair placement, aim, movement, looking at the minimap, positioning, stuff like that. If you can do that losing is irrelevant as long as you are improving the skill you need outside the game. Confidence is the ability to trust yourself, and if you know you have to click play and you dont you will not trust yourself when the time comes. You think RR is progess, but its not, improving skills is progress.

i’m currently in ascendant 2, I used to be immortal 3 two years ago but stopped playing. I think my main struggle is just focus in general and i’m kinda scared to play on my main account but when I play on my alt (asc 1) I perform much better. Another of my main struggles is inconsistency, one day I’m playing like a pro player dropping 30s and the next day I play like shit for whatever reason and so on.

Hello Paux, you perform better on your alt because you dont care about the rank on it so you have less reverse effort. Ypu need to be able to tolerate a full rank down if needed to improve. Literally force yourself to queue so you can learn to lose, its part of the game amd of improvement. Everyone feels inconsistent, its very normal dont wprry about that, but inconsostency is just a lack of presence, lack of focus. the trick is no not even think about consistency, that thought alone distracts you from your real problems. Lack of focus, lack of discipline. You can do it, you are a great player, but to be a great player you dont need only to understande the game well. I like to say that a fully focused platinum player can win to a immortal playing notnthat focused. The most focused team wins every time
